Boys:Girls

Once, Raksha had been to a fair. There were many competitions and contests. None of them interested her except a Mathematics Contest where one difficult puzzle would be asked. If she answered correctly then she could chose the prize among mobile phone, pen drive or a mp3 player. The time given was half an hour. The question was this: “There is a village. Every family in the village only wants a boy. They continue to have children until they have a boy. If they have a girl, they will have another child. If they have a boy, they stop. What is the ratio of boys to girls in the village?” Raksha found out the answer correctly and won a mp3 player.
